A rising smartphone manufacturer from Shenzhen, China – Elephone have another phone to release before end of this year.

It is stated that the Elephone Ivory will be ready to order online by the end of November and will have the following specs:

• Mediatek 8 core MT6753
• 5.0 inch screen
• 720P video resolution
• 2.5D on-cell display

Given that the specs are very similar to a lot of upcoming phones in the $129.99+ price range, this could be a good option for those wanting to get a decent spec phone for pocket money pricing.

How good the phone is will depend a lot on the quality of the screen and cameras as well as the software that Elephone put on the phone.

The best bit is that Elephone are aiming the phone squarely at the budget end of the market, when it is released the phone should cost just $99 (around RM425) although there may well be a chance to buy them at discounted prices in Elephone flash sales.
