The ASUS Zenfone 3 smartphone series make their official Malaysian launch debut today.

The five models in Zenfone 3 family are the ZenFone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max.

We can say the flagship phone for ASUS this year is the Deluxe model which equipped with Snapdragon 821 and Snapdragon 820 chipset.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe model comes with 2 variants – 6 GB, 64 GB ROM for  RM2,599 and 6GB, 256 GB ROM for RM3,299.

For a big screen smartphone fans out there, ASUS offers Zenfone 3 Ultra with a 6.8-inch screen size display.

Only one variant of the device will be available in Malaysia, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage; it retails at RM2,599.

The third model is ASUS ZenFone 3.

Unlike the former two devices mentioned above which come with full metal body, the ZenFone 3 has a glass back along with a smaller form factor.

Two variants are available for Malaysian market are a 5.5-inch model for RM1,699 and a smaller 5.2-inch variant for RM1,499.

Both models come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Then we have the ZenFone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max.

Among the devices under ZenFone 3 series, these two devices were actually first unveiled in Vietnam.

The ZenFone 3 Laser for Malaysian market comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage for RM999.

ZenFone 3 Max in the other hand is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage for RM799.

This makes it the most affordable model in the ZenFone 3 series.

According to ASUS Malaysia, only the Zenfone 3 model is available for purchase in Malaysia at the moment.

While the Zenfone 3 Ultra is up for pre-order at ASUS ongoing Zenvolution event.

The other devices in the ZenFone 3 series will be made available sometime this month.
