Share

On this day Thursday, November 19, 2015 IKEA Malaysia has opened the door for public at Jalan Cochrane, Taman Maluri, Kuala Lumpur.

The new store also marks the second outlet in Malaysia.

IKEA opened its first store in Malaysia at 1 Utama Shopping Mall back in 1996.

Then they grew from a humble beginnings and moved into the standalone store in Mutiara Damansara in 2003; the biggest IKEA store in Asia at that time.

Now the new store in Cheras is the IKEA’s largest yet in Malaysia with an overall store size that is 20% larger than IKEA Damansara.

The opening of IKEA Cheras is part of the overall expansion plan across Southeast Asia in order to make Swedish home furnishings that are affordable, well-designed, functional and good quality available to every Malaysian.

Here are some photos from the visitor who came to the opening of IKEA Cheras today.
